Just found out that Google Timeline doesn’t have any proof I was in Luxembourg in 2023, apparently, I needed to have backups enabled. sigh. Alright then.  One more time viewing the gorgeous city centre. I have this quirky habit of capturing a photo of every manhole cover in whatever country I visit. I think it started when I was in Japan . Trying McDonald's in every country is also one of my habits. This time, I went for the waffle fries and the strawberry cream pie and they were actually pretty good! Craving some Asian flavors, so we ended up at this seemingly approved bubble tea place — T.Zone Boba. He normally only drinks water and no tea/coffee, but he was curious enough to try out this drink of mine!  3rd and final time at our dinner place: Akami. I am going to miss the sweet and kind service here. 

Ja ja, rolling my belated Luxembourg travel blogpost out  like it's never too late to show them, right?!  Another rainy day in Luxembourg, and today promises to be a workout day as well. Oof!  Yes, we're going to hike the infamous Mullerthal Trail! It is a 112km long trail that has dif ferent routes and levels. Since my boyfriend and I aren’t exactly newbies, we were ready to challenge ourselves with one of the tougher routes.  We first arrived at Echternach.  📍Echternach I find all bus stops in Luxembourg so cute! They look like tiny houses, don't they, so sturdy and solid. And a great shelter from the rain too. We've decided to have lunch here before we head to our hiking workout. Gobbling up the pokebowl and sushi first and we are ready to hike. On our way to the hiking trail, we came across a very convenient spot that had both a water fountain and a bike repair station. Luxembourg may not be the cheapest European country for a budget holiday, but it does offer free public transport! Trains, buses, and trams are completely free throughout the entire country. You can hop on and off whenever you like, which gives us a real sense of freedom. No more stressing about finding the right bus line or buying tickets. This made exploring feel spontaneous and fun, exactly how an adventure should be.  We have visited the following cities: Clervaux and Vianden Sunny or rainy, we've got our umbrella ready.  📍Clervaux Clervaux is a cute and picturesque town.  And there are lots of churches and abbeys to see and visit.  We grabbed sushi as lunch, and then it was time to move on to the next city: Vianden The ceiling at the train station of Luxembourg City, pretty! The train ride was surprisingly quiet, which we like. That means seats everywhere. There's also a first-class area, but that does not include the free transportation plan.  📍 Vianden ...
